Paddlefishing Report

Catch and release days are Sunday, Monday, Thursday;
Fishing hours are 6 am to 9 pm - when a paddlefish is caught and tagged -
the fish must be removed from the river by the end of the day (9 pm); no
larger than an 8/0 hook may be used - following the harvest closure, catch
and release snagging will be allowed for 10 consecutive days or through June
30th, whichever comes first.

Height - 48.26; Mud Count - 1722; Water Temperature - 55. The fish are definitely at Intake! With our numbers at 572, FWP has decided to close our fishing season on Saturday, May 31st at 9 p.m. This is our 24 hour notice of season closure. If we go over our quota of 800 at Intake, our season will potentially end earlier on Saturday at Intake only. Sunday, June 1st, will begin 10 consecutive days of catch & release and then the paddlefish season will be over for this year.
