Tuff Harris established a reputation as a hard worker excelling in both academics and athletics. In high school, he broke the Montana high school all-class record for the 100 meter dash his junior year and earned 7 individual state titles. Tuff was a corner back for the Grizzlies and graduated from the University of Montana with a 3.87 GPA prior to enjoying a 5-year career in professional football.

Of Crow and Northern Cheyenne descent, he was born Chester David Harris on the Crow Indian Reservation. He has been through many trials in his life and was given the nickname “Tuff” after surviving a harrowing childhood illness.

Currently, Tuff works with his Foundation to help Native Americans restore physical, spiritual, mental, and financial health through education and leadership development. Tuff has been placed in a unique position to help. Having played college and professional football Tuff’s platform of influence continues to grow and he has accepted the mission to help people overcome adversity and excel in life.
