Join us for the 71st annual Miss MT Scholarship Competition and Miss Montana’s Outstanding Teen. Join us in supporting these young ladies from around the state of Montana such as Helena, Belgrade, Glendive, Bozeman, Sidney, Chinook, Billings, Baker, Bloomfield, Wibaux, and Lewistown.
13 Miss MT contestants age 17-25 and 10 Teen contestants 14-17 compete for the title of Miss MT and Miss Montana’s Outstanding Teen. Thursday night preliminaries – see them all on stage. Friday night crowning of Miss Montana’s Outstanding Teen. Saturday the Crowning of Miss MT who will go on to represent MT at the 100th anniversary of Miss America. All Miss Contestants receive at least $950 scholarship for competing with over $30,000 in cash scholarships and many applied scholarships and prizes.
Preliminary competition with 13 Miss MT contestants and 10 outstanding teens begins:
Thursday July 23rd 2020 at 7:00 pm preliminary competition in the DCHS auditorium.
Friday July 24th 2020 at 1:00 pm Miss Montana parade. The parade will start at the EPEC parking lot and go on Merrill, past the nursing home, and the veterans home. At 7:00 pm Friday night the production is seeing the second set of the Miss candidates talent and culminates in the crowning of Montana’s Outstanding Teen.
Saturday July 25th 2020 Saturday night the judges narrow the competition which includes Montana’s Choice voted by the public online and the judging starts anew by the end of the judging the new Miss Montana will be crowned.
**The Public can vote for Montana’s Choice online at www.missmontana.com with $1 per vote the contestant with the most votes earns a scholarship and a spot as a finalist during the final night of competition.
If you want to purchase Miss Montana tickets: the Farm to Table store, the Glendive Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture have them available and the tickets can also be purchased online at www.missmontana.com. This year the upper and lower sections are the only sections that will be available at the DCHS auditorium because of COVID-19 restrictions. The event has to comply with health and safety regulations per county health department and the government.
