Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) invites all children aged 7-13 to participate in the Summer Youth Program “Five Senses Outside” at Makoshika State Park on Thursday, June 15 from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Kids aged 7-13 are invited to enjoy a morning of learning about nature with our program “Five Senses Outside.” Students will learn about each of the five senses. We will conduct experiments that test each of the senses and then utilize them while we explore the outdoors on the Diane Gabriel Trail.
Please have participants bring a water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen and dress appropriately for the weather. Tennis shoes, no flip flops. Please meet at the Diane Gabriel Trailhead. Due to liability issues, we must have at least one additional adult (besides our instructors) per 10 participants. We strongly encourage parents to sign up for a program to share in these interesting and fun learning experiences.
A program schedule and registration forms are available at the Makoshika State Park Visitor Center.
For more information, call the visitor center at (406) 377-6256.
