CYBERSECURITY CLINIC TO BE HELD APRIL 21ST IN GLENDIVE!
The University of Montana is holding a Cybersecurity Awareness Clinic in Glendive on April 21st from 10am-3pm with a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. The clinics are designed to boost cybersecurity awareness and practices for individuals, small businesses, seniors—really anyone who uses a phone or computer. They’re open to the public and we encourage anyone within about an hour’s drive from the venue to consider joining.

Each event is split into two sections – morning and afternoon. Individuals can join one session or both. The morning includes passwords, multifactor authentication, software updates, and browser safety. The afternoon includes phishing, social media, and working remotely.

Annie Oakley shares a unique part of American history and her views on strong women, Buffalo Bill Cody, William Randolph Hearst, Sitting Bull, and more. This event will take place as part of the Museum’s annual meeting.

Come to the EPEC to enjoy entertainment, ice cream and root beer floats thanks to Cross Petroleum and Cross Country Brewery. The famously tender roast beef sandwich dinner by Connie Undem and crew is available there or to go for $14. Makoshika Wellness is bringing Allan Dance Studio back to Glendive for a fun-filled evening of dance lessons and open dance on May 3, 2025 at 5pm at the 17 Club. Allan will teach Country Swing, Two Step, and more. It will cost $10 per Makoshika Wellness member and $15 per non-member at the door.

This is not your average triathlon. You or your relay team will have a scenic journey to the badlands while you kayak 8.3+ miles, run 3.4+ miles and bike 12.37+ miles through Glendive. At the finish we will have a beer garden, food trucks, live entertainment and vendors to help you celebrate your journey to the badlands and replenish those calories you lost along the way.

Rules:
• Individual or team must provide their own equipment (kayak, life jacket, oars, bike and helmet)
• Numbers must be marked on the body according to body marking regulations and each individual or team member must have their numbers displayed on them.

• Numbers must be visible on the participants, their kayak and bike.
• Relay teams will consist of three persons of your choice. We don’t judge. You will pick which teammate will kayak, run and bike.
• All participants within a team will complete the kayak sequentially, run sequentially, and bike sequentially. To further clarify, athlete 1 will complete the kayak portion, tag athlete 2 who will then complete the run, tag athlete 3 who will complete the bike.
• You are only allowed ONE bike for the bike leg.
• Play nice with others.
• Have Fun!

*Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards will all be acceptable for the water portion. Your flotation device is your choice as long as it is a one man vessel without a motor.

On September 13, 2025at 8:30am we will kick off our 3rd annual fun 5k color run in Glendive, Montana. You will have the chance to walk, run, or dance your way through the colors of the rainbow in Makoshika State Park. This event is meant for ALL ages. Your excursion will start at Makoshika State Park's amphitheater and head down rolling hills to catch views of the amazing badlands. Day of registration and check-in is from 7:30-8:15am on September 13th. Make sure to stick around afterwards for the Makoshika Music and Arts Festival.
All proceeds will go to towards many of the new programs we have added in the past year.
