The time has come for the DCHS Drama Club to present "Shrek the Musical TYA" by David Lindsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori, produced through special arrangement with Music Theater International.

Performances will be October 28 at 7pm, October 29 at 7pm, and October 30 at 2pm in the DCHS Auditorium. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for students, and kids 5 & under are free.

Based on the book and movie, this musical tells a fairy tale like none other. An ogre is on a quest to get his swamp back from a bunch of homeless characters. He is joined by a talking donkey and finds himself rescuing Princess Fiona for Lord Farquaad, who wants to rule the perfect kingdom.

It's an entertaining play for the whole family, and the student actors have done a phenomenal job preparing for it. Let's fill the auditorium in support of these brave and talented teens!
