This event is FREE and open to all ages. Bike & Build will be in our area August 2, 2022 at 6:30pm. They will do a short presentation where they talk about Bike & Build: what they do, a typical day, their service work, the affordable housing crisis, and bike safety. Then they will kick off the bike rodeo. Depending on the ages that attend, they will talk about bike safety, parts of the bike, bike fit, biking techniques, hand and voice signals to use while you ride. There are also some activities that they will set up with cones, like "obstacle courses," bike-related Simon says, race to put on safety gear as fast as possible, races to see how slowly you can bike, etc. This will be a fun evening for the whole family in the Uran Center parking lot. So bring your bikes down, put your skills to the test and maybe learn something new.
