45th Annual Juried Traveling Art Exhibit
The 45th annual juried art exhibit, traveling collection may be viewed at The Gallery during the month of April. Voting will be held for the local “people’s choice award”.
The theme of this year’s show is “the myth of beauty” In response to this theme artists were asked to consider the following statement: “When different notions of beauty collide, the results can surprise and amaze…This exhibition invites artists to challenge their ideas of traditional beauty.”
The Juror for this exhibit is lifelong artist Carolyn Zimmerman. Zimmerman works as an artisit on a variety of substrates for canvas to walls. She currently lives in Miles City, and her art is showcased at the Gallery.
“This show’s unique theme resulted in an extremely diverse body of work that will definitely make viewers reconsider what beauty means to them. This collection portrays beautin in surprisingly unconventional ways, and I think viewers will enjoy the challenge of selecting a favorite,” says Executive Director Jenn Hall Tooke.
