38th Annual Light Parade
38th Annual Light Parade | A Country Christmas
November 29th at 7pm.
As the holiday season approaches, the Glendive Chamber of Commerce is busy preparing several exciting community events to spread festive cheer and encourage support for local businesses.
The Annual Light Parade, one of the Chamber’s most beloved traditions, will take place on November 29th at 7 p.m. This year’s theme, A Country Christmas, promises to be a fun and festive display of lighted floats—a perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The parade will begin at the high school, travel down Merrill Avenue, and end at the EPEC parking lot. Santa Claus, leading the parade in the Chamber’s float, will join the celebration at Our Park after the parade. Residents can also enjoy a performance by the Chamber Chorale at the park’s gazebo and admire a new light display organized by the Hood family. Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch will offer hot chocolate and host their Angel Tree program, allowing community members to purchase Christmas gifts for children in need.
>>>If you plan to have a float, please email us at glendivechamber.com with a contact name and number. This way we can quickly contact you if your float is chosen as the Judges Choice. The winner will be asked to join us at the gazebo after the parade to receive their award. This award is handmade by Mr. Christmas himself, Terry Hood.
Line up at the high school at 6:30. Chamber Board Members will be there to help direct.
Many of our downtown Small Businesses will be open late, so stop in and see them!
The 29th is Black Friday and the 30th is Small Business Saturday.
